To make a DVD cover, follow these steps:
1. Okay, let's start
Run the RonyaSoft CD DVD Label Maker by clicking on the icon on your Desktop or in the Start menu. After starting the DVD cover software, choose one of the options:
- Start from a Template to create a document based on a pre-designed template.
- Creating a new document with the Template Generator to create a document from a custom-size DVD cover template.
- Open a Previous Document to edit a previously saved a DVD cover.

2. Setting up a DVD cover template
Select 'Start from a Template'. The 'Choose a Template' dialog box will open. Left-click the 'Standard DVD cover' template thumbnail to select it. An enlarged selected template will appear in the 'Preview' pane. Double-click the template thumbnail or click the 'OK' button to load the selected DVD cover template.

The document already contains a background image and four text objects (4 titles and a list of items).
3. Designing a DVD cover
To change the background image of DVD covers, click on the button 'Load' in 'Properties' window, which is located on the right side of the screen. In the 'Open an Image' dialog box select the desired size of the image and click 'Open'.
The image will be automatically adjusted and cropped to the size of the DVD cover template. To change the picture settings, click 'Edit' in the same 'Properties' window. The 'Image Editor' dialog box will open. Here you can select the part of the image that you want to see in the background of your DVD cover.

To insert an Image or a Clipart object into a DVD cover, click the 'Image' or 'Clipart' item in the 'Insert' menu or on the 'Objects' toolbar of DVD cover software.
Go to edit the text of the template. To do this, left-click the text, for example, 'Title 1'. Text properties are presented in the following sections (Text, Font, Alignment, Placement, Blending).
To insert the text into a document click the text item in the 'Insert' menu or on the 'Objects' toolbar. To apply text formatting for all text forms, select all previous objects by holding down the 'Shift' button on your keyboard.

The program RonyaSoft CD DVD Label Maker can also draw geometric shapes (Lines, Rectangles, Rounded Rectangles, Ellipses).
To add a rectangle into a DVD covers, click a rectangle item in the 'Insert' menu or on the 'Objects' toolbar. Drag the cursor across the document area to specify the right bottom point of the object.

4. Save document for further use
To save a document, select the 'Save Item' in the 'File' menu or on the 'General' toolbar. If the document has not previously been saved the 'Save as...' command will be executed automatically.
A standard 'Windows Save a File' dialog box will open. Select a folder, specify a file name. Click the 'Save' button.
5. Print DVD covers
To print DVD covers click the 'Print Item' in the 'File' menu or on the 'General' toolbar. A standard Windows Print dialog box will open. Choose a printer and set its properties if necessary.
Click 'OK' to proceed. The 'Printout Setup' dialog box will open. The left pane of the dialog box contains controls for setting up printing options. The 'Preview' pane shows a printout on a page. Select the print properties and click the 'OK' button to print DVD covers.
